为拓展西安交大同欧洲知名大学交流，特邀英国牛津大学Helena Beveridge （Head of Conference Services at Lady Margaret Hall）以及Yi Samuel Chen (Associate Programme Director at Lady Margeret Hall)于3月22日来我校进行交流，并在此期间举行学生讲座，介绍两校合作暑期学生项目相关情况，欢迎各位同学届时参加讲座并讨论交流。具体安排如下：

Mrs Helena Beveridge
BA Hons, Modern History, Jesus College, University of Oxford
Mrs Helena Beverideg is the Head of Conference Services at Lady Margaret Hall and one of the Associate Programme Directors for the LMH Summer Programmes. Mrs Beveridge spent many years working in marketing for large commercial organisations, and was Head of Regional Marketing, Coca-Cola Great Britain before taking a career break to look after her family. Mrs Beveridge returned to work in 2012, when she joined Lady Margaret Hall. Lady Margaret Hall is a College in the University of Oxford. It was founded in 1878 to be the first College to admit women to the University of Oxford, and now has over 600 students, both male and female. Mrs Beveridge was promoted to Head of Conference Services in 2015 and also supports the organisation of the LMH Summer Programmes.
Yi Samuel Chen
哈佛大学文学硕士，牛津大学哲学博士
在史学领域发飙多篇学术专著，积极促进中英国际合作项目，在其研究及发展领域获得多个奖项。
负责设计组织多个国际学术研讨会议及交流项目。
任牛津大学研究员，英国牛津高峰教育企业有限公司创始人及总监，英国牛津可持续发展企业有限公司创始人及总监，牛津大学中国事务联络官。
讲座内容：
Mrs Helena Beveridge will tell students about the Lady Margaret Hall Dimensions of Leadership programme, which is being held between 11th and 31st August, 2019. Lady Margaret Hall is a College in the University of Oxford, and its Dimensions of Leadership programme has been especially created for Xi’an Jiaotong students. The programme explores what it means to be an effective leader in business, management and political contexts. Mrs Beveridge will cover the content and structure of the programme, and explain the work which students will be expected to complete during the course including information about the Model Constitutional Convention held at the end of the course. Information will be provided about English language requirements and the completion certificate at the end of the course.
