From March 25th to March 28th, President Wang Shuguo attended China-Egypt University Presidents’ Forum and education exhibition in Egypt. During the forum, President Wang gave a keynote speech on “scientific and technological innovation”. He expressed the hope to develop fruitful exchange and cooperation with high level universities in Egypt, and provided 50 high-level scholarship opportunities for the outstanding Egypt students to study at XJTU.

Wang Shuguo had deep discussions with the presidents of Cairo University, Alexandria University and other high level universities. He also met with the provincial governor of Qalyub.

Wang Shuguo had a formal talk with the president of Benha University. The two parties had broad and productive exchanges on the future cooperation under the framework of UASR, specially at the aspects of the student-faculty exchange, summer program, and quality international students.

Wang Shuguo visited Benha University’s School of Agriculture, School of Engineering, biology laboratory, robotics laboratory, teaching facilities, etc., and met with professors and students.
