我校协议学校—美国UMass Lowell大学2012年3+2交换项目现已开始。该校也正式与我校联系，表示我校可推荐10名大三年级本科生赴该校进行两年的交流学习，毕业时可取得我校的本科文凭以及UMass Lowell的研究生文凭。 烦请各学院于03月29日前将学生名单（含学院、班级、电邮与电话等联系方式）报予教务处，经学校研究后确定各学院的名额及名单。

（2）英语要求
A minimum TOEFL score of 79 (Internet-based) will be deemed sufficient for entering the MS degree programs in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, and plastic engineering. A minimum TOEFL score of 81 (Internet-based, preferably > 90) will be deemed sufficient for entering the MS degree programs in biological science and biomedical engineering.

满足以下三个条件之一：
条件1：本专业排名在前20%；
条件2：在美国大学生建模竞赛中获得一等奖（需提供获奖证书下载地址）；
条件3：GRE成绩数学部分不低于90% Rank，语法部分不低于21% Rank。

Other Fees not in table:
Health Insurance is mandatory for all graduate students taking 9 or more credits. The cost is estimated at $1124.00 for the year.
Students can waive this charge only if they have comparable health insurance coverage. To waive students log into their ISIS account and follow the health insurance link under the finance section.
First Year Student Services Fee is estimated at a flat rate of $200.00.
International Student Fee is $200.00 per semester.
Advanced Health Assessment Fee is $275.00 for students taking the Advanced Health Assessment course.
Masters of Education Curriculum and Instruction Pre-Practicum Fee is $150.00 for students taking the Pre-Practicum course.
Graduation Fee ‐ $150.00

Lowell城内公共交通便利，距离Boston等大城市也有公共交通
l 奖学金包括teaching assistant和research assistant，额度均为：免学杂费+不超过18000美元/9个月。奖学金主要有两种，一种是teaching assistant，一种是research assistant。Teaching assistant由各系决定，经费来自于各系的教学经费。其评判标准主要是英语听说能力。Research assistant由学生的导师决定，经费来自于导师的科研经费。其评判标准主要是学生参与研究工作的表现。以UML的计算机科学系为例，基本上80%左右的Phd学生都有teaching assistant或者research assistant，master学生中获得奖学金的比例则大概有50%。
