On the morning of June 25, a ceremony appointed Professor Farhad Rachidi of Switzerland’s Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne as XJTU honorary professor and the ceremony was held in room 207 of the Science Hall. The Associate Dean of the School of Electrical Engineering Li Shengtao presented professor Rachidi with his appointment certificate and a school pin. Associate Dean said he hopes that the two parties can build a long-term relationship based on mutual trust and can conduct in-depth and high-level scientific research. Professor Rachidi said he felt honored to be appointed and expressed his appreciation to XJTU. He added that he expects to work closely with XJTU in the field of thunder lighting physics and electromagnetic compatibility.

Following the appointment ceremony, Professor Rachidi presented a lecture entitled “EMC Applications of Electromagnetic Time Reversal”.
