Recently, the third annual “East Asia Soldering Technology Seminar” was held in Busan, Korea. The seminar was attended by over 100 experts representing the following organizations: the Korean Soldering Society, the Soldering Society of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, and the Japanese Society. Professor Zhang Jianxun from the XJTU School of Materials Science was an invited speaker at the seminar. He lectured on the uneven gradient feature and its harmful effects on of titanium alloy’s fusing and soldering joint.
The seminar attracted the attention of soldering experts and scholars throughout China, Japan and Korea. The next East Asia Soldering Technology Seminar will be held at XJTU in October, 2014.
