On the morning of May 15, a 14-member medical expert delegation from Austria organized by the Department of International Cooperation of the Talent Center under the Ministry of Health visited the Second Hospital. The vice president of the Second Hospital Liu Yuan introduced the basic conditions of the hospital to the visiting guests. He devoted their attention primarily to the hospital’s recent successes in the areas of talent training and scientific research. The members of the delegation asked the heads of the relevant disciplines and departments about physician training quality control, and the role of dieting in traditional Chinese medicine. Two members of the delegation also delivered lectures, one on the topic of “New Scheme to Cure Chronic Hepatitis C Patients” and the other, “Managing Diabetics inside the Hospital”.
