On May 10, the Silk Road Education Cooperation Exchange Meeting was held in Xi'an. The exchange meeting was hosted by Shaanxi Provincial People's Government and was attended by Xi Guang, Vice President of Xi'an Jiaotong University, and Shen Shengping, President of the Aerospace Institute.

Xi Guang, Vice President of Xi'an Jiaotong University, Dmitry ZUBTSOV, Vice President of Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology in Russia, and Sarvat Mushtaq Ahmad, President of Pakistan's Jiramisakhan Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, unveiled the Silk Road University Alliance Aerospace Sub - alliance.

Vice President Xi Guang and Vice President Martin Schröder of Manchester University jointly signed a memorandum of understanding between Xi'an Jiaotong University and Manchester University in Britain.

During this educational exchange, Xi'an Jiaotong University won the collective award of "The Belt and Road Initiative" for educational cooperation contribution.
