On September 20, a delegation from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, led by its president, Prof. Harvey S. Perlman, visited XJTU. The delegation met with XJTU President Zheng Nanning and signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement in which the two institutions agreed to broaden and deepen their academic exchanges and research cooperation.
In the afternoon, a ceremony was held to name President Perlman an XJTU honorary professor was held in room B103 of the University’s Main Building. President Zheng presented Professor Perlman with an appointment certificate and a university pin. The ceremony was presided over by the dean of the Law School, Professor Shan Wenhua. Following the presentations, Professor Perlman delivered a lecture on American intellectual property rights to the students of the School of Law.
